EBUN EBUNLOMO, PhD

Dr. Ebunlomo has been the Chief Executive Officer of Preferred Urgent Care since January 2016. Prior to accepting this role, Dr. Ebunlomo was an Evaluation Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) where she worked with the World Health Organization, African Region, to conduct a multisite evaluation of national public health surveillance and response systems. Though her journey into healthcare has not been the traditional path, she has drawn on her knowledge spanning over 17 years of professional experience across public health and healthcare industries to provide quality care at all levels: patient-based and population-wide. She has also served as a contributing faculty member with the MPH@Baylor program since April 2019 and has remained a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Department of Public Health at Baylor University to date. Dr. Ebun loves to sing, cook and travel. She is happily married to her husband, Deji and together they have 2 amazing boys, Iyanu and Iremide.
