Welcome Back Letter

We hope this email finds you and your family well. We are OPEN and BACK accepting walk-in during regular business hours from 8am – 9pm daily. As this difficult time during coronavirus COVID-19 continues, we wanted to address some of the anxieties and concerns we are hearing and feeling from patients.

As a healthcare facility, we carefully follow the details and data trends of the pandemic. However, we are equally concerned about the increasing numbers of patients who are delaying medical attention for illness while in the early, mild stages due to COVID-19 related concerns. Both the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recently released notices regarding these important issues.

We cannot go through coronavirus and not address other critical health issues or illnesses.

We Recognize and Value the Trust You Place in Us.

Let us assure you that we are consistently following every recommendation from both national authorities (CDC and AAP) as well as local health officials in order to safely continue to care for our patients.

What you can expect from us: Appointment times are more spaced out to prevent time spent in the waiting room. Our office has adequate exam rooms to bring you back quickly upon arrival. When necessary, we ask patients to wait a moment in their car while we discharge another patient in order to minimize contact.

All of our medical staffs wear higher level masks depending on the type of visit and necessary procedures.

Each exam room is disinfected thoroughly after every patient, including well visits. The entire office is cleaned twice daily: middle of the day and at the end.

All employees are screened daily for signs of illness and sent home immediately for any symptom.

What we need from you: Any adult and child over the age of 2 will be asked to wear a mask over your mouth and nose, unless medically unable. You will be asked to wear this for the duration of your time in our office. Only one adult may accompany a child to the office. Necessary exceptions to this will be made on a case-by-case basis.

Hand sanitizer dispensers can be found along the walls of the office. You will receive a hand sanitizer wipe on your way out for use in elevators and doorways.

Put Your Family’s Health First.

We recognize that you may be nervous to come to our office. We hope that our continued vigilance and care provide a level of ease and comfort to your family during this time. We have heard from patients that they feel more comfortable after seeing our precautionary measures in person.

Please do not put your child at risk by delaying well visits or vaccines, and please do not allow minor illnesses to become serious because of concerns about our office.
