Megan Dorough, APRN, FNP-C, ENP-C is a dual certified nurse practitioner in both family and emergency medicine by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Megan started her healthcare career at a community college in here in Houston obtaining her registered nursing degree in 2015. She worked as a registered nurse in the emergency room for 6 years in the greater Houston area before continuing her education at the University of Texas at Arlington and ultimately achieved her master’s degree at the University of Texas Health and Science Center - Cizik School of Nursing in Houston. She has been in practice with the Preferred Urgent Care team since 2021 and enjoys serving the healthcare needs of the community here in Katy. In her free time Megan loves to travel and spend time with her family and friends.
